Marketing Your Coastal Vacations Call Center Business: Getting Organized with Airset.com
Marketing Your Coastal Vacations Call Center Business: Getting Organized with Airset.com
Sometimes life can be a huge distraction. For example, just a couple of weeks ago I had big
plans in place to begin a "Marketing Your Coastal Vacations Call Center Business" series right here on this very blog.
But then, out of nowhere, we were hit hard by the realities of Middle School.
If you don't have kids in middle school yet, you probably don't know this but there is a lot more homework in middle school, many more 'projects' and what seems like an exponential increase in the number of activities.
So after week one of middle school, none of us knew what had hit us. It did not take long for me to realize that a serious overhaul of our current organizational system (ha!) was in order.
So I set out to find the most effective organizational tool for the entire family.
There are many useful and very cool portable family planners available - just check out your local Barnes and Noble - but I knew I needed an online system, since this is where I spend the majority of my time. Plus, I wanted a system that could easily sync with my husband's Outlook or Palm.
I spent a lot of time researching several different online calendar systems (Google Calendar,
Yahoo Calendar, 30 Boxes, MSN Calendar and more).
I settled on Airset.com, "The ultimate life organizer for busy people struggling to balance hectic work & home lives. Share calendars, contacts, lists and files with all your important groups: family, work, school, church and more..." according to their website.
Airset is cool. It offers separate tabs for each area of your life (work, school, church, sports team, etc.). It also offers the ability to share each of these calendars with others who are also involved - without giving them access to calendars that they are not involved in. It's hard to explain, but it is easy to understand if you visit Airset.com.
Airset works for me. It is a way for me to keep my personal events separate from my work events, while having all of it in front of me at once. My family can share the family calendar and each member can add to it when appropriate.
Airset syncs easily with Outlook and Palm. I can send reminder messages to anyone who is
assigned to an event. I even use RSS feeds to post the family's daily calendar on each members home page (Google, Yahoo, etc.) so nothing is missed (or at least there can be no excuses!)
I can easily share my Coastal Vacations business calendar with my team. It's handy to have the many Coastal Vacations training calls displayed each week so we can plan our schedule accordingly.
My local Women's Professional Business Network is now using Airset for it's calendar, file
sharing and messaging system. As we get used to using Airset, I hope to get all members sharing information via the blogging option.
I can't go into all of the details as to what Airset offers, but you can check it out yourself at
Airset.com. It may be just what you need to get your Coastal Vacations Call Center business, and your life in order. And...did I tell you? It's free!
